Students often feel overwhelmed with speaking English which is a major barrier for English learners. The new English Communication Course will help students build confidence and ultimately focus fully on communication by assisting with grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. This course will not only improve the students’ confidence but will also prepare the students for the prerequisite course on English presentation.
Liberal Arts Essential A01284 Written Communication I 2.00
Communication skills are essential qualities required for academic and social life. To this end, this course was designed to develop comprehensive communication skills such as listening, speaking and reading, focusing on writing. In particular, in the case of writing, students will learn the basic elements of writing according to procedural steps, and learn various types of writing necessary for academic and social life through theory and practice. In the process, as a university student, you will increase your immersion in learning and have a meaningful writing experience by reading articles that are helpful in exploring the problems and values ??of ‘I’.
Basic Elective B01222 Understanding of General Linguistics 2.00
Linguistics studies the nature of language which is the medium of communication. This study is done in terms of universality and the government of language rules. By studying the unique features of the humanity of the language, we can better understand human beings as a talking and thinking animal.
Basic Elective B01226 Understanding Western Culture 2.00
This course develops the understanding of the western culture, reading texts that introduce general facts of the culture. It is a course designed to acquaint students with various aspects of the western culture and civilization from its beginning to the present.
Major Elective B01930 Spanish I 2.00
This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of Spanish grammar and focuses on the development of four skills in Spanish in its basic level: comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. Emphasis will be placed on the Spanish grammar, but, additionally, the students will meet with some aspects of the cultures and lives of the Spanish speaking world.

This subject aims to enhance the learner's interests in and motivation for learning Spanish and Latin American Culture. In this course, students may experience as well as art, music, dance, foods, body languages and traditions by various materials directly or indirectly.

Major Elective B01805 Spanish Composition I 3.00
The purpose of this course is to improve the writing skills in Spanish. For this purpose, the course will provide some instructions and practice in writing, and will also develop the vocabulary for written and oral expressions. In the first term, the practice will be realized by means of some exercises assigned by the professor, and in the second term, the students will perform free composition with specific topics.

The main contents of this class are teaching the history of the spanish & latin american literature and outlining the important authors and their representative works of each epoch. The emphasis will be put on the studying the authors and their works of the age of 1960 that is called Latin american Boom
Major Elective B01811 Latin America Culture and history I 3.00
Its primary target is to offer the general perspective on the past and the present of Spain and Latin America, so that the students learn the main events of history and the culture as the bases for understanding of Spain and Latin America. Specially, this class emphasizes the Hispanic cultures that are related closely to Latin America.

This course offers a detailed study of various aspects of Spanish grammar that the students need in order to understand or analyze its sentence structure. Emphasis will be given to understanding the basic concepts of Spanish grammar and its uses, and a variety of practical exercises will be also accompanied.

Major Elective B01899 Seminar on Latin American current Issues I(Capstone Design) 3.00
This course has mainly two purposes; First, one is to introduce the current issues such as politics, economy, international relations, social development, and its main problems facing Latin American societies. And the other is to understand the mentioned current issues themselves consulting the various on-line and off-line materials.
Major Elective B01942 Practical(Business) Spanish III 2.00
Practical Spanish III and IV are courses aimed at improving Spanish communication skills in various business settings and work situations. In this course, students will learn the basics of business-related letters and forms, as well as business conversations such as business discussions in Spanish and the introduction of products and projects.
Major Elective B01944 Advanced Spanish I 3.00
Advanced Spanish I and II are courses aimed at reinforcing competencies such as reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Through this course, you can assess your own level of Spanish proficiency and prepare for various Spanish proficiency tests.
