1. Housing Application Schedule
 1) Call for Application: 13-Nov-18 (Tue) ~ 4-Dec-18 (Tue)
 2) Application: 19-Nov-18 (Mon) ~ 21-Nov-18 4pm
 3) Application Result Release: 29-Nov-18 (Thu)
 4) Housing Fee Payment: 3-Dec-18 (Mon) ~ 4-Dec-18 (Tue) 4pm
 5) Room Placement Result Release: 21-Dec-18 (Fri)
 
2. Available Halls, Period and Meals
 1) Halls
   - Male: Qilin(Twin) 6~7F
   - Female: International(Twin) 10~11F, Magnolia(Twin) 9~10F
 2) Housing Period: 24-Dec-18 (Mon) ~ 22-Feb-19 (Fri)
   - Winter 2018 Move In: From 22-Dec-18 (Sat) 2pm
   - Winter 2018 Move Out: By 23-Feb-19 (Sat) 2pm
   - Spring 2018 Move In: From 23-Feb-19 (Sat) 2pm
 3) Meal Period: 24-Dec-18 (Mon) ~ 22-Feb-19 (Fri)
   - Except for 5 days of New Year Holiday
  
3. Housing Application
 1) Application Period: 19-Nov-18 (Mon) ~ 21-Nov-18 (Wed) 4pm
   - Those with more than 5 penalty points are not eligible to apply. (Voluntary labour works should be done before the application period)
   - Students may move the room every semester/break and be placed to their new room and paired with their roommates randomly.
   - Roommates are paired upon their degree course, programs and nationalities.
   - Once placed, neither the roommates nor the rooms can be changed.
 
 2) Application Process
   - Degree Course students, Study Abroad students and Dual-degree students
     a) Visit the link; https://goo.gl/aannyy
     b) Fill out and submit the Google Form.
   - Korean Language Course students
     a) Visit the International Office and submit the application form. (Ms. Somi KIM)

4. Housing Fee Payment
 1) Payment Period: 3-Dec-18 (Mon) ~ 4-Dec-18 (Tue) 4pm
   * Make sure you pay for the housing fee during the designated period, otherwise your housing application will be canceled.
 2) Payment Process
   - Degree Course students, Study Abroad students and Dual-degree students
     a) Visit UWINS homepage. (http://uwins.ulsan.ac.kr) (Sign in required)
     b) Move to ‘대학생활’ - ‘학생생활관(본교)’ - ‘기숙사비납부고지서출력’ menu.
     c) Print the Housing Bill and pay for the fee at the on-campus Kyongnam bank or transfer the exact amount to the virtual account on the bill.
   - Korean Language Course students
     a) Visit the International Office and receive the Housing Bill. (Ms. Somi KIM)
     b) Print the Housing Bill and pay for the fee at the on-campus Kyongnam bank or transfer the exact amount to the virtual account on the bill.
 
 * Do NOT transfer the fee to the International Office bank account.
 
5. Housing Application and Room Placement Result Release
 1) Housing Application Result
   - When: 29-Nov-18 (Wed)
   - Where: UWINS and notice board at Korean Language Education Centre
 2) Room Placement Result
   - When: 21-Dec-18 (Fri)
   - Where: UWINS and notice board at Korean Language Education Centre, each residence hall and elevator
 
6. TB Examination
 1) Examination: X-RAY examination
 2) Hospital: 좋은삼정병원(Good Samjeong Hospital), 강문수내과(Dr. Kang’s Clinic), 남구보건소(Ulsan Nam-gu Public Health Centre)
 3) Who: Those who newly enter the on-campus housing for Winter 2018
 4) When(Deadline): By 7-Dec-18 (Fri) 4pm
 5) How to Submit
   - Degree Course students, Study Abroad students and Dual-degree students
     a) Visit UWINS homepage. (http://uwins.ulsan.ac.kr) (Sign in required)
     b) Move to ‘대학생활’ - ‘학생생활관(본교)’ - ‘건강검진파일등록’ menu.
     c) Upload the TB Examination result. (PDF and JPEG files available)
   - Korean Language Course students
     a) Visit the International Office and submit the TB Examination result. (Ms. Somi KIM)
  
7. Housing Fee
 1) Room Charge
   - Qilin(Male), International(Female): KRW 384,300
   - Magnolia(Female): KRW 311,100
 2) Meal Plan Fee (2 meals per day)
   - 7 days: KRW 268,800
   - 5 days: KRW 201,600
 
8. Autumn 2018 -> Winter 2018 Move In/Out and Room Change Process
 1) Autumn 2018 Move Out: by 22-Dec-18 (Sat) 2pm
   - Those who will not stay for Winter 2018 must move out before above time.
 2) Winter 2018 Move In: From 22-Dec-18 (Sat) 2pm
   - Those who will stay for Winter 2018 must move the newly placed room.
   - Those who do not keep the move in/out time will be given 9 penalty points.
   * Any belongings left in the room after the move in/out period will be discarded. International Office or Housing Office do not hold any responsibility for this.
 
9. Room Placement Priorities
 1) Korean Government Scholars and Foreign Government/Institution Scholars
 2) Study Abroad Students and Dual-degree Students
 3) UOU International Office Scholars
 4) Korean Language Course New Students
 5) Postgraduate Course New Students
 6) Undergraduate Course New Students
 7) Korean Language Course Current Students
 8) Postgraduate Course Current Students
 9) Undergraduate Course Current Students
 * Due to the limited capacity of on-campus housing facility, rooms will be placed according to the above placement priorities and thus not all the applicants can be placed at the facility.

<During Semesters>
1. Before semester begins: 100% of the Housing fee paid except for KRW 100,000
2. Within 30 days after semester begins: Actual amount for the remaining days
(Calculated on daily basis) except for KRW 100,000
3. Within 60 days after semester begins: 1/3 of the Housing fee paid except for KRW 100,000
4. After 60 days since semester begins: No refund
* Student Association fee (KRW 10,000 per semester) is not refundable.
 
<During Breaks>
Before break begins: 100% of the Housing fee paid except for KRW 100,000
Within 40 days after break begins: Actual amount for the remaining days (Calculated on daily basis) except for KRW 100,000
After 40 days since break begins: No refund
 
<Meal Plan Fee>
Within 20 days before the end of semester or break: Actual amount for the remaining days (Calculated on daily basis)
After 20 days before the end of semester or break: No refund
 
 
<Refund Procedure>
A student may apply for a refund by submitting an application form to International Office. Once the application is submitted, the fees are to be refunded according to the above refund policy within 15 working days. In case of overseas remittance, the student is responsible for the banking charges and the actual refunded amount may vary depending on the exchange rate fluctuation.
